A super upgrade of zpanel?
So i came up with this crazy idea that i think should be including in the next upgrade of zpanel. Is it possible to make the next version of zpanel have all the modules released thus far for zpanel 5 already installed? It gives it more functionality and another who wants to remove one for any reason can go in and just remove the folder(Simple enough
) I just thought i would hear what others had to say about my idea.

RE: A super upgrade of zpanel?
I agree with some aspect of your suggestion, however, some of the modules are only in beta stage, and some also have major bugs that needs fixing. It is best to only include modules that have been thoroughly tested and are ready for public use. I do agree with you somewhat though, but this would be something that Ballen would have to answer as he is the developer for the control panel.
Hope this helps .Sincerely, Junious Norris Zpanel Support Staff |

RE: A super upgrade of zpanel?
Yea i agree it would only include the ones that are either completely developed or almost to the point where it has little to no bugs left to work out. Thanks for your input Junious, Im very curious as to what Ballen says.

RE: A super upgrade of zpanel?
I would say no
Just for the reason that modules are for users to install to customise their installation of zpanel.. I'd rather be installing them than removing them or even worse unable to remove them. I would suggest however maybe some of them should have installers made and they could be put into the thirdparty folder...

RE: A super upgrade of zpanel?
Hi all,
Ok I am highly against this mainly for the following reason: If I include all 'Stable' modules for ZPanel in the next release then us as a 'project' then seem to be responsible for any bugs or security issues that those modules bring with them.... I hope this makes sense, already ZPanel is a very large product with thousands of lines of code which I am solely responsible for (eg. I already have enought work on my hands )I hope this makes sense and to be honest this is such an easy task for a user to download and install a module it really doesn't need to be added into the core of ZPanel. another point to make here.... Several thirdparty installers have a very different layout and cosmetics to what I class as 'Zpanel standards' and therefore I don't want to make the 'core' of zpanel look messy. Hope this makes sense but I appreicate your post and suggestion.
