Has been the use of this explanation

To the process of upgrading to the latest version of MySQL 5.1.50

Quote:Upgrade Mysql

1) Download (mysql-noinstall-5.1.50-win32.zip)

2) Backup "Mysql" database, it store your mysql / login information..IMPORTANT! you need to restore back on the later stage. Don't need to backup zpanel_core and zpanel_roundcube database (I use Navicat for mysql administration)

3) Start > Run > services.msc then ENTER

4) STOP Mysql service. and go backup your c:\zpanel\bin\Mysql folder.

5) Extract mysql-noinstall-5.1.50-win32.zip and replace all files within C:\Zpanel\bin\Mysql\ folder

6) START > Accessories > "Right Click" Command Prompt > Select "Run As Administrator".

7) Type "mysqld --remove" this will remove OLD Mysql services...

8) Type "mysqld --install" this will add NEW Mysql services...

9)Login your Database using root with "empty" password.

10) Restore "Mysql" Database. your PMA and root account are back in place.

11) Run Mysql_upgrade.bat (and check generated output log - mysql_upgrade_output.txt)

I have recently been using my server and found that if I run a Linux server it is alot faster. I find that most people do use Linux server (not alot of the people here) and that it would be good if you can make ZPanel for Linux to expand its user base. What do you guys think?

Got yet another brainteaser...

I'm doing a small tidyup on my server an noticed the following log file:

C:\service.log

It is filling up in realtime with this :

Open Key Failure!!
Open Key Failure!!
Open Key Failure!!
Open Key Failure!!
Open Key Failure!!

I deleted it but it comes straight back and starts filling up again with the above errors...

Any ideas what program / service is doing this?

No program is locking the file so i can't use a file lock trace program that i normally use, and i can't see any strange processes / services running...

Any help would be much great so i only deleted it an hour ago and it's back up to 1mb already...
